Job Types: Full-time, Contract

 

Job Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

1.    Responsible for planning and implementing sales strategies
2.    Responsible for selling medical products, equipment, and services to hospitals, surgical centers, doctors' offices, and clinics
3.    Establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. 
4.    Plan activities with hospital OR staff, orthopedic and spinal surgeons, and office staff to promote and sell products
5.    Communicate with customers to determine their product needs and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone and face-to-face)
6.    Communicate with new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs
7.    Provide product demonstrations and support in the operating room, direct both surgeons and nursing staff regarding the use of our implants and instruments.
8.    Build and maintain strong business relationships with surgeons and hospital staff
9.    Educate medical staff on the benefits of medical devices
10.    Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
11.    Address any problems that arise at the account
12.    Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications. Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
13.    Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
14.    Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & license requirements, and Company policies & procedures.

 

Preferred qualifications
1.    Bachelor’s degree or higher
2.    Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/spine/sports medicine market
3.    2-5 years demonstrated sales success in medical industry
4.    Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments
5.    Driver's License

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
1.    MS Office required.
2.    Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
3.    Strong sense of urgency is important.
